Fenerbahçe announced the transfer of Diego Carlos to Parma. 33‑year‑old Brazilian defender, acquired from Aston Villa two seasons ago for 11 million euros, had spent the 2024 season on loan at Como.

After long negotiations, Carlos left the club; no buy‑back or bonus fee is expected from the move. Images released by Gianluca Di Marzio show the player arriving at Bologna airport, where he will undergo a medical before joining his new team.

The transfer will take effect on 31 August 2026, and Parma will add the experienced centre‑back to its defense line. This move is aimed at strengthening Parma’s back line for the upcoming season.
